About MindfulMingle.net

MindfulMingle is part of an MFA Graphic Design thesis that examines how the design of digital apps and user interfaces, especially those targeting adolescents, can affect addictive behaviors and mental health in younger users. It studies the ethical concerns surrounding engaging design strategies, particularly their impact on adolescents’ dopamine response. The objective is to analyze the balance between creating interesting digital applications for young users and ensuring their psychological safety by considering the role of dopamine in addictive behavior and the societal obligation to mitigate that in technology for adolescents.
